Units of the MEC Second Armoured have fought their way from a beachhead landing in the Delaware Bay to here in the Pennsylvania Dutch farmland of Lancaster County. This bold push is to cut off American units moving south to reinforce Washington D.C., a city under siege by MEC forces. This agriculturally rich area of American culture is about to erupt, as battle hardened units of America’s Armoured and Cavalry Divisions muster to stop the MEC Second Armoured advance head on.

Big, open rolling hills in the American farmland sets the tone for armour battles in a manner of how you’d imagine the battlefields of Normandy in WW2. With small forests, lots of trees and bushes everywhere, this map can see armour setting up position on a treeline and pummeling an enemy flag with shell after shell, round after round.
Lots of armour in this map and lots of jeeps too, with helis and mobile AA to top it off. Despite this, Infantry play a major role and have an easy time both avoiding enemy armour as well as hiding from them in the bush. Snipers with their guille suits are near invisible in these bushes which makes this ideal for sneaky Spec Ops raids on lone enemy tanks that rumble past.
Harvest is regarded as the most visually stunning map in Armoured Fury - and the entirity of BF2. And this is not only for its stunning visuals. It also includes BF2’s only weather system, where you get thunder and lightning strikes which light up the sky periodically throughout the duration of the round, giving a unique atmosphere to this stunning map.

This map is totally different. The US start on the opposite side of the river this time, and this results in 1 less flag for players to fight around. As a result, vehicle counts are also reduced.
