War continues to rage for the precious oil in the Middle East. The EU has come to aid their allies, confronting the MEC head-on in one of the most brutal battles of the war. Multiple assaults on both fronts have pushed the armies back to their bases, decimating the middle ground and leaving the oil field a smoking ruin. Even though the oil reserves have been destroyed, what remains beneath the scorched desert sand makes this a battleground worth fighting for.

Vehicles. Lots and lots of vehicles.
Operation Smoke Screen can be regarded as the ultimate map for armour battles. Featuring a massive 14 MBT’s on the 32player version, along with 4 jets and 4 attack helis make this map a winner for the vehicle lovers who dont sit and spawnrape city maps. Infantry don’t play a massive role, other than engineers. Anti-Tank even have a hard time due to the shear number of MBT’s on the map. Lone tanks are easily despatched, but multiple tanks are very difficult to destroy since most drivers will be engineers - i.e. repairing each other.
The Wind Farm is the most valuable and strategic flag on the map. It is the only flag that spawns mobile AA, and being on the highest point of the map makes it a very hard flag to take from the enemy. Your teams DPV’s should instantly go for it at the start of the round to claim the all important AA. Site the AA on the ridges below the wind farm, call in some supply crates and shoot down those helis.
