The PKM is just as accurate firing multiple rounds as the RPK-74,, possibly even more so, and does more damage per shot than any other LMG, though it only has a 100 round magazine. Seeing as you should generally fire in short bursts anyway, this is rarely a problem. The high damage and accuracy of the PKM makes it a solid upgrade for the Support player, especially USMC/PLA players.

Fair warning though: the PKM has a very distinctive sound when fired which may draw extra attention to the player firing it.
